OUR STORY
WOCLIF School of Health Technology is a private health training institution established in 2019 by the Women & Community Livelihood Foundation (WOCLIF) to train middle-level health workers. Located in Mbioto 1, Etinan LGA, Akwa Ibom State, it holds the distinction of being the first private school of health technology in the state.
For more than a decade before the school was established, WOCLIF worked in rural communities across Akwa Ibom, focusing on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, and providing care and support for orphans and vulnerable children. Much of this work relied on community volunteers who were trained for specific project activities but were not licensed health professionals.
